Happy List

You know i have plenty of time before my big first day of work. So I browse from site to site, and found this lovely blog Rockstar Diaries. I read the latest post and down to some of the previous, and during my time read them, i found that Naomi Davis, the blog-owner, loves to make a list about things she loved. Well, I'm in awe and thinking why not make myself one?!

So here's to happiness,
10 things that make me terribly happy
1.  A funny chat before sleep with my brother and sisters
2. A lite chat on morning with family
3. Open the door in the morning and greet by a light rain
4. Finishing my make up (instead of ruin or lose it)
5. A movie that can make me cry
6.  An adorable puppy
7.  A flash of certain memory when i hear a song or spray a parfume
8. Baking
9. Getting a feedback on my blog
10. Diggin an ice cream while enjoying the rain outside

This is my every time happiness, and supposedly its more than just ten. I will make another list on different occasion

toodles, love.

When Potatoes Meats the Cheese

Well, Hello!
I currently has nothing to do. yes, I'm back to the old time where DVDs and internet connection were my best friend. (a long sigh here). So I was thinking, why not be creative during this free time. I want to be a good cook, so i went straight to the kitchen and played a little bit here and there. and... voila, a new dish just been invented. actually I don't really know if it is new  or anything, all i knew is i love potatoes, and i love minced meat, so i boiled potatoes, and cut it into dices, and put the beef. and to pretty-ing things up, i poach an egg, and added a little dices of cheese. here is the picture..

Oh.. actually i forgot to spread the cheese when i took the first photo, but the good thing is that way, i can show you that the eggs poached perfectly so the yolk is came out and spreads like an eruption. here is the picture after i spread the dices cheese:

Now it is perfect. and the taste is also perfect!! I think it is an accomplishment for the day :) its time to eat the rest of Potatoes meats the cheese. (I dont really know whats the name of this dish so i just created a catchy name hihi)

drooling already? make your own.. it's easy.
Toodles.

future house

I always fancy my home. I moved a lot from one to another, and I experienced different houses. From the oldest to the brand new one. the scariest-darkest to the happy-bright one. Of all those, each house brought a memory, and i always love those houses we've lived in. It is true what they say, Home is where your heart is.

I, once i get marry, for sure gonna build a small house with my husband. I always imagine what's my own home gonna look like. The foyer, the Family room, the dining room, 3 bed rooms, nice and big kitchen, WALK-IN CLOSET, and of course, the garden. I know it sounds pretty classic and usual, but i love it. For now, I don't fancy the minimalist design, i would go for the classic one. this design applied also for the interior.

the classic foyer. it's not common here in Indonesia, but I love it and want it. find it from here

Nice and comfy. maybe the books on the table is a little bit to much but still, i adore it. I got this picture from turquoisetulipsandbliss

BEYOND! i love this. but too grand for my imaginary 'small house'. get the pict from here

THIS WILL DO! a super huge window, comfy bed, and a single sofa, minus the fireplace. i get this pict from thia tumblr
a small kitchen-diner!

A WALK IN CLOSET! gotta have it. click me
a green-ish backyard
Those pictures above is the one i want the most. I know those seems un-match and have different types one to another (I'm not an interior experts) but i believe, me and my future husband will work it out some how and find the utter-most one we called home. :)

Grand Tips: For Size 12 and Above

If you read my previous post, you might notice that i was having a culinary trip on Medan, North Sumatera. No, I'm not gonna give you a peek at all the food images now, but since i gained some weights (pathetic. ARKKK) of all that foods, this post is gonna be about a little tips of how to look fashionable for size 12 and above.

1. Minimalism
The key is, never over-do anything. Do not put on too much accessories. go for something simple and neat.

a simple dress and a shawl like Whitney Port will do awesome! the shawl will cover your bust part and makes you look simple and yet cool. remember, the key is do not over do it.

2. Plain and Dusty
Go for something plain. whether it is black or any other colors. but I myself prefer to go with black, or grey, or white. I also love other color, and i like them more if they go with dusty!

Lo Bosworth wore a simple plain top and a cute opaque skirt. you can put on a cardigan if you feel so but if you didn't, you still look gorgeous and on the go. Check Whitney Port here:

She wore a sequin black tank and cover it with a dusty pink blazer, even she wore an animal print leggings, she didn't look over-done. Yes, you can mix and match a plain top with any patterns and color.

3. Fit you well
To do this, you have to really know what your size is. Therefor, pick an outfit that is your size. Do not try the bigger or the smaller one. Never wear something that too skin-tight and shows your fat out. and don't ever go with something to loose, because if you not careful, it only makes you looks bigger. big no NO.

see, a skin-tight outfit won't help you looks skinnier. it only makes your fat more obvious.

4. Outerwear
This is a gift from heaven: an outerwear. it helps to cover up some 'big part' like bust, belly, or arms. blazer, vest, cardigans, cape, coat, you name it. Not only to hide some spaces, it also have a huge impact to make your outfit looks edgier. look at the pictures above, Whitney Port and Lo Bosworth wore an outerwear and voila, they scream edgy!

5. Statement shoes
Whether you are size o or even size 16, a statement shoes will makes your whole look stylish. But remember the first rule, DO NOT OVER DO IT. even on shoes. Choose wisely, dont ruin your  whole outfit with a wrong shoes. even models wear a simple boots. so find your own statement shoes. a High heels is preferable because it can increase your heights and look skinnier.

Well, those 5 tips above is based on my personal experience and i wrote it on general way. Feel free to try it, because i believe it would work fine to you. Remember the key: Do Not Over Do It.

Go with something simple and plain. But still, eat healthy and work out, I believe nothing would go wrong if you shows a confidence and a healthy inside and out.

Toodles Peeps.
xx, Nady.

ps.
I used those picture above not because they're even like size 12 or something. But because I believe their way to dress will also work with girls with bigger size.

Girls' Generetion

Happy2k11!

Peeps, remember when i told you earlier about some crazy phenomenon in my country? kpop idol! Well yeah, apparently, it is by time is sinking and just a few true fan still bending over backward over them. But........ Call me a late-bloomer or whatsoever, i. am. now. like. or. you. may. call. it. crazy. over. some. korean. pop. idol
IT IS A KARMA.
And the lucky idol is SNSD or well-known as Girls' Generation.

Maybe if you read this post, some of you will wrinkled up your forehead for questioning what the hell i'm talking about, but i believe a lot of you will smile and laugh at me for being so 2007 or 2008 or 2009.
But incase you wondering, SNSD is a korean girls group that consist of 9 members. i am newbie here so i dont recognize all faces and all names, but i enjoy their songs and i love their video. I notice some of the member though like yuri, sunny, sooyoung, and taeyeoun. Other than that, hands up.

They grew in me because of one variety show i watched almost everyday on KBS and fall in love with: invincible youth.

This show is about some korean group idol that try to make a living in a countyside like plants vegetables, took care of a cow and others. The girls called G7 and consist of 7 girls from different groups. From the early of the show, this is the original member, 2 of them is from SNSD, yuri and sunny. others is Hara from Kara, Narsha from brown-eyed girls , Younha from 4minute, Sunhwa from secret, and Hyomin fron T-ara. This formation change by time, and the show is lost their originality (i think). But still i love this show, because it so funny and innocent that shows even an idol can act stupid and still human. Highly recommended!

The point is, my heart fall for invincible youth and that means i love the members and their groups, especially SNSD. Do not hate me, you should try to see them. Well, you will never know until you try rite?! Go check their song on youtube, and if you like them, please let me know. I need to know if there is someone out there is a newbie like me. Fyi, my favorite song from SNSD is Genie, Gee, and OH. Go check 'em

Ps. I curently on a vacation in medan. (talking about culinary trip here)
Catch you later, toodles.
