hi blogs, please excuse those simple greeting on spanish. i've been learning that from Johnny Spanish, a spanish tutor, which teach me a simple and quick spanish, via podcast on my iphone. which, i can hear everytime, anytime, anywhere. and it also for free. check this Discover Spanish website for details and other. or you can download the podcast. superawesomeest.

Now, I'll give you a quick re-cap of my week. here we go:

1. Finally met my boyfriend after three weeks. dined in the kitchenette with him, and my siblings. and also that was a treat from brother david.
2. picking a color for my wall on my future room. loving this part.
3. seeing my future house is starting to show a shape, especially the indoor pond.
4. Food tasting session with the caterer's for the reception. Tummy was spoiled with a satisfaction.
5. accidentally stained my pants, and rushed to Zara to buy a change. A nice pink mini skirt. That’s called a blessing in disguise.
6. Got a letter from the office said my 1^st day will be start on May 5^th. Whattup!!!!
7. Saving my money to buy a golden retriever pup on early May. (and all the equipment like cage, chain, food). I super can not wait for the day, even it will be another weigh on my shoulder since everything is start on early May.

I can't wait for this April to be passed. not that I eagerly want to start my job, but this april has been much of a tension for me, and my family. The wedding, the renovation, the moving, everything has to be finished on April. And on May, life will be super normal, only on different place, and me living alone (as in without my family) with the long-awaited dog. am i ready for that life? idk

Btw, I need a reference name for my golden pup, please help me with that before I settling with some stupid name like "Momon"

Peplum. Peplum. Peplum.

Fell free to call me caveman or something for I just found out about Peplum. I saw it  everytime,  everywhere, on skirt, on shirt, dress, etc. but I never really know the exact word for it. So yes, Peplum it is.

From the freedictionary.com, Peplum defines as:

Noun	1.	peplum - a flared ruffle attached to the waistline of a dress or jacket or blouse flounce, furbelow, ruffle, frill - a strip of pleated material used as a decoration or a trim
	2.	peplum - a garment worn by women in ancient Greece; cloth caught at the shoulders and draped in folds to the waist peplos, peplus garment - an article of clothing; "garments of the finest silk"

Since i just found out about it, now I can't stop to think about it. I'm helpless. i googled it, and I keep want it. hahaha I'm so easy.

The Exploding Meatball Sub

I've told you how geek i am, haven't i? well, I am. I juggling like 5 tv shows to watch everyday, i manage to read few page of my books, following my favorite shows on tv, surfing sites 3 hours minimum, and that whole things  even with the wedding and renovation things i told you about. 

But that is not what I'm gonna tell you about.

I just watched the new episode of How I Met Your Mother, and what I'm about to tell you is that was not legendary at all, in fact it was worst episode ever (in my opinion), since all other episodes cracks me. Title of this particular episode is The Exploding Meatball Sub. The story is not really about the meatball sub, it just the side story about Barney's revenge to explode a meatball sub on Marshall (which in the final scene he finally did it on Marshall. After 10 years. wth is so ridiculous. really? a revenge trick after 10 years?) 

Okay, so the story line is about How Ted relationship with Zoey is always about challenging each other and never agree on a thing, while Lily and Marshall on the other hand is always on the same page. But truth is, Ted and Lily is sometimes had enough of it. Lily was tired for  being supportive (of marshall who quit GNB and went to NRDC as a volunteer without getting paid, of giving up having a baby, of giving up their holiday to spain etc etc), so Lily almost went off to Spain on her own. While ted, whos really tired of all the argument he had with Zoey (especially, with Zoey's movement to tearing down ted's project on GNB HQ), Ted almost broke it off, but he decided not to  break up with Zoey because of the graduation google*

well, thats about the main story of this episode. the whole other thing is so not important, i think it only to fill up the airtime. so the plot was kind of jump to each other. totally forced. also, i found the jokes is not funny like it used to be. and yeah, I'm a big fan of Barney's character, but Barney entire scene in this episode is not funny at all (well, i admit, some still hillarious. like when he mixed up countries like Spain having a pyramid, and Dinero as an actor).

For me this episode is 6 out of 10. maybe because I've been waiting for a new episode for so long, i gave a very high expactation. I dont know. I hope next one will be better. fingercrossed.

Eventhough i found this The Exploding Meatball Sub was the worst, i like some of the idea. like "graduation google" i mention once. Robin explained that as when you like graduate from high school, you would think "awww I'm so gonna miss this school" "aww, i dont wanna leave this school" "aww, I'm gonna miss those jerk who always bully me and giving me a crap" well, that is graduation google. Through this google you feel like you dont wanna leave those thing behind, but actually you would never go back. I think the idea of graduation google is clever and very true.

well, i found a glee-ish picture of How I met your Mother:

Trial and error. And failed. Twice.

I know, my title is a very sad for a blog post. But that exactly what i've been through. It was not a very important matter though, i was initially trying to make a nice cute delicious macaroon, and all i got was a failure. Twice.

First trial
The error is when i stir the dough with a mixer and it become foamy, after that i put the almond and sugar and STILL mix them all together with the mixer until the foamy dough back to watery. Thats totally wrong. When the dough become foamy, i should have stopped the mixer and mix them with almond and sugar by hands.

Second trial
Okay, when i try for the second time i tried to be extra careful with the mixture. And when i put them to the baking sheet, they was so pretty, i had a good feeling about this one. But when i put them on the oven, i close the oven entirely, because on my recipe theres nothing said about that so i close them. And they were burnt and crispy and dont have a feet that macaroon suppose to have.
I should follow the first recipe i used, that i have to leave the oven door slightly ajar. *sigh*


For summary, i failed. Twice. I'm so gonna buy a dozen of macaroon. Pay back.

Leave those behind (for a sec)

Hi pals. I've been awol for this past few weeks, i know. But i had my reason. i guess. :) last weekend, i had quite a blast with my siblings. We went to an island called: Pulau bidadari (angels' island). Actually this trip wasn't really a picnic-on-the-park kinda trip, it was supposed to be another pre-wedding photoshoot. But me, my sister and my brother tagged along with the couple and spent a little weekend on the beach. Hahaha it was a refreshment :)

And this weekend, well, i'm nicely tucked in my sister's room at my house in sweet sweet jambi. It is also a refreshment since i can escape from busy jakarta and all the renovation (and wedding preparation) things. See you next week my construction workers, i'll examine your job real soon. Be good!!

I havent told you why i'm in jambi yet. Yep, my sister has this traditional engagement party called martumpol, that suppose to be held tomorrow morning. Tomorrow morning? Well i have to call it a nite then. Better sleep early to reduce rhis puffy eye if i want to be all out tomorrow rite;)

Are you a big fan of Gossip Girl, How I met Your Mother, or The Vampire Diaries? well, I am. I weekly check their new episode on internet and stream them if there were a new one, and sometimes i downloaded them ;). but apparently these past two or three weeks, there weren't any new episode of all those TV series. They are all on pending. why oh why. i feel like I'm losing my grip here. nothing to hold on to. Okay I'm a bit too exaggerating here. but, I'm being honest. i miss my McClarrens gank, Salvatore brothers, and Upper East Siders gossips.

For all I know, Gossip Girls will be aired on April 18. How I Met Your Mother on April 11, and for The Vampire Diaries, I dont know.. maybe in the middle of the year. :(
